Welcome! Feel free to browse about the photos and posting that describe my watercolors, ceramics and other forms of art. The blogging originates from the Long Beach Peninsula in Wasington state on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, a classic artists' mecca/colony with a myriad of summer festivals, a great place to age gracefully. Black Lake Lillies
Just north of Ilwaco is Black Lake, so named because the pine forest creates a rich black shadow over the waters. Here a fishing derby is held in the spring and white swans pause to assemble.
View of Baker Bay Marina, Port of Ilwaco, WA
At Cape Disappointment where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean, the beautiful, scenic fishing boats rest in the bay marina.
