April Astoria Art Walk at the Rio Cafe

Made the Art Walk in Astoria, OR, April 10, second Saturday, 2010. The folks at the Rio Cafe, Julie Foster and familia, hosted me, Barbara Martin, doing charcoal portraits and introducing my paintings. The Rio plans to be a regular on the Artwalk map throughout the coming year. I should be around to do you in water color or charcoal.

Art Supply Source, Dots n' Doodles to relocate in October

In late October, 2010, our friends, Tim & Scott will move Dots N' Doodles Art Supply Store across the street from Burger King in Astoria, OR.

Formerly "Tokugawa", Japanese antiquities, the location will appeal to the massive traffic passing under the Astoria-Megler Bridge on its way east to Commercial St. and possibly, Portland, OR, or west to Warrenton, Seaside, Gearhardt, Cannon Beach, OR, and points southwest on Hwy 101.

Scott will conduct ceramic studies in this much larger building where the myriad of art materials will be on one floor. Look for the unmistakeable yellow-ochre paint; you can't miss it!
